While the campmates have been left shivering in a derelict old castle, hosts Ant and Dec have been living like kings in a 10,000 a week luxury cottage while filming the show.

The celebs might have been slumming it in hammocks, but the hosts £1,000 a week luxury accommodation features a spacious kitchen and four bedrooms.

A far cry tin from the tin tub and water pump used by the celebs staying in Gwrych Castle, the pad features a huge bathroom with a luxurious walk-in shower.

Their digs even feature a luxury hot tub, perfect for unwinding in after filming.

The cottage isn’t far from a local fishery, however, the pair are said to have been staying in, rather than venturing out. However, Dec is believed to have visited a nearby beach last week.

The homes are secluded and set away from public view behind some woodland, meaning guaranteed privacy for the famous twosome.

Meanwhile, the production staff are staying in caravans nearby.

The rest of the I'm A Celebrity team are staying at the Golden Sands Holiday Park in Rhyl, North Wales.

A source told The Sun: “Golden Sands is more than equipped to host the giant crew… They might not get a tan though.”

The whole area has been cordoned off to stay in line with COVID regulations.

Only those who are in the inner circle are allowed to enter and all staff, including Ant and Dec, are tested for the virus every three days.

This years’ series was cut short to just over two weeks from the usual three following COVID restrictions that also landed the celebs in rainy Wales, over the usual jungle of Australia.
