Inside Laura Whitmore’s return to Mallorca ahead of Love Island Casa Amor twist

July 6, 2022

Love Island host Laura Whitmore has been soaking up the sun in Mallorca after jetting off to present the highly anticipated Casa Amor recoupling.

The TV host, 37, recently jetted off to Mallorca in order to enter the Love Island villa, as this year's Islanders are set to choose whether to stick with their current partner or recouple with one of the newbies.

Laura, whose husband Iain Stirling, 34, narrates the popular ITV2 dating show, gave fans a glimpse of her trip on social media and shared a series of sun-soaked snaps as she debuted her new pink hair transformation.

The mum-of-one revealed that she was dying her blonde locks pastel pink on Instagram ahead of her arrival in the Love Island villa, and posted a photo of a pot of hair dye as her hairdresser got to work.

Laura then headed to be the beach to show off her new look, and could be seen taking in the view in a photograph she shared on Instagram.

The 37 year old looked stylish in a navy blue patterned mini dress with her pastel pink locks styled in loose waves, and she excitedly wrote: "Almost time…," alongside a pink heart emoji.

Many of her followers were to compliment her, with former Love Island star Faye Winter writing: "It's the pink hair for me," with a lovestruck emoji.

"Omg the pink," added actress Emily Atack, while another person said: "Love the hair".

Laura then headed off to get ready for the recoupling ceremony, and the star gave her followers a sneak preview of her stylish outfit ahead of her villa arrival.

She opted for a bright pink animal print dress to compliment her new hair colour, which she paired with platform silver heels.

Explaining her outfit choice on social media, Laura revealed that the Emanuel Ungaro dress is the same one that singer Mariah Carey once wore on the cover of Vogue.

"So who’s the heartbreaker? Me and Mariah’s dress are about to find out. Thank you @myrunwayarchive for this iconic #preloved dress from @emanuelungaroparis S/S 2000 collection as worn in Vogue," the Love Island host wrote.

Laura has continued to wear preloved looks on this year's series of Love Island, after it was revealed that the 2022 series would be sponsored by eBay instead of a fast fashion brand.

Elsewhere, the TV presenter gave fans a sneak peek inside her lavish beachfront apartment in Mallorca as she showed off her new gym wear.

She could be seen enjoying a workout outside in the sun before hanging out her washing on the balcony, after landing in Spain.

Viewers have been eagerly waiting to find out the results of the Casa Amor recoupling after many Islanders have started to form connections with new contestants in recent episodes.

A preview of Wedneday (6 June) night's episode teased the dramatic twist, with the Islanders set to decide whether to stick with their current partner or recouple after living apart for a number of days.

Love Island continues on ITV2 at 9pm.
