Has Toadie left Neighbours and does he die?

March 18, 2020

Toadfish ‘Toadie’ Rebecci (Ryan Moloney) was left in a terrifying situation during the latest late-night edition of Neighbours.

In order to celebrate the 35th anniversary, Neighbours has been broadcasting two episodes daily all this week.

While the regular daytime editions of the soap have celebrated and honoured the past, the late-night instalments have seen Finn Kelly (Rob Mills) — with his memories restored — take drastic action on a remote island in order to be with Elly Conway (Jodie Anasta).

During last night’s late-night episode, Toadie was left in a bad way, as he clashed with the villainous man — but is this the end for the character?

Has Toadie left Neighbours?

There’s currently no word on whether or not Toadie has left Neighbours.

Toadie was due to depart the island and head back to Erinsborough in the latest episode, but — before departing — he discovered the dinghy that Bea (Bonnie Anderson) was meant to have used to leave the island, and thus he became concerned.

He located Finn and informed him of his discovery, but — desperate to get rid of Toadie — Finn ambushed him by hitting him over the head with a nearby boulder, before using said boulder to hit him even harder.

Does Toadie die?

It’s been confirmed that 3 mainstays will die during the 35th anniversary celebrations, but the identity of these characters remain shrouded in mystery.

With Toadie having suffered a severe head wound — not to mention the fact that Finn set him out to sea on a boat which had water pouring into it — he’s certainly in danger of becoming one of those unfortunate three characters, but whether he will die remains to be seen.

Neighbours continues at 1:45pm and 5:30pm on Channel 5, with the next instalment of Neighbours Late: Endgame at 10pm.
