An Australian fitness expert and pilates instructor has revealed the most effective exercises to incorporate into your workout routine to target the inner thighs and stubborn belly fat.
Sandy shared two demonstrative videos on TikTok, which have since gone viral and received more than 165,000 views combined.
The inner thighs and stomach are known to be difficult areas to reduce fat, but can be achieved by incorporating specific exercises into a workout and eating healthy foods.

In one video Sandy begins by doing one round of goblets squats, followed by toe pulses and shift squats – which are all key exercises that use major muscle groups of the lower body.
How to tone the inner thighs
To tone the inner thighs, Sandy incorporates three exercises into a circuit routine to burn calories and shred fat fast.
Each exercise is pulsed for a total of 45-seconds and doesn’t require any weights, but can be used if desired.
Sandy begins by doing one round of goblets squats, followed by toe pulses and shift squats – which are all key exercises that use major muscle groups of the lower body.
While each exercise is simple to do, it’s ideal to maintain correct form throughout the movements and avoid putting too much pressure on the knees.
According to Healthline, other exercises that also target the inner thighs include curtsy lunges, standard lunges with dumbbells to increase intensity and thigh lifts while lying on a yoga mat.
How to target belly fat
Sandy said scissor kicks, double leg circles and feet taps are the best exercises to target belly fat.
While lying down on a yoga mat, each exercise should be done for at least 45-seconds to increase the heart rate and burn unwanted fat.
Scissor kicks can be done by stabilising the core and moving your feet upwards at opposite times, while feet taps involve moving your feet outwards towards your hands.
Double leg circles is bound to be a burning exercise as it involves controlling your legs and creating one circular motion in the air.

According to Healthline, in order to banish unwanted stomach and inner thigh fat quickly, it’s also recommended to focus on consuming healthy protein and fibre.
Food with high amounts of nutrients include broccoli, kale, cauliflower, boiled eggs, beans, nuts, seeds and legumes.
Through consistent diet and exercise, belly fat will be reduced and the inner thighs will become toned.
