Emily Ratajkowski is over dating men who “don’t know how to handle” strong women.
The “High Low” podcast host explained in Tuesday’s episode that she “hate[s]” going out with “men in particular” who “truly think they want” an independent partner.
“They’re like, ‘You’re special. You’ve done it,’” Ratajkowski said, one week after Page Six broke the news that her fling with Pete Davidson ended.
“They slowly get emasculated, and they don’t know what to do with those feelings, and they resent you, and then they start to tear you down,” the model, 31, continued. “And then you’re just back to square one.”
Ratajkowski made headlines in November for her short-lived romance with Davidson, 29, following a public makeout session with DJ Orazio Rispo.
By December, she had downloaded her first dating app and was spotted kissing artist Jack Greer.
The “My Body” author is in the midst of divorcing movie producer Sebastian Bear-McClard. Page Six broke the news of their split in July 2022, and she filed to dissolve their four-year marriage in September.
The estranged couple now co-parent their 1-year-old son, Sylvester.
While the “Gone Girl” star has spoken to Harper’s Bazaar about feeling “anger [and] sadness” over her breakup, she has yet to address rumors that Bear-McClard, 41, cheated on her.
However, Ratajkowski told “Today” show viewers in November that she is no longer “put[ting] up with s–t.”
“I don’t owe anything to anybody — other than my son, that’s the only man,” she declared.
