Dermot O’Leary’s home: Inside The X-Factor hosts’ £3.5million London house as he welcomes son with wife Dee Koppang

June 27, 2020

Dermot O’Leary recently announced the exciting news that his son has arrived into the world.

The 47 year old X Factor host, who shares his newborn son with his wife Dee Koppang, shared the happy news on his Instagram with a photo of a white babygrow with the words: “Koppang O’Leary Productions Est. 2020,” on it.

Next to the sweet white bodysuit, a pink knitted bunny rabbit comforter was placed and Dermot then announced the happy news that his 41 year old wife, Dee, had given birth in the caption.

And the sweet pair, who tied the knot in 2012, will be taking their little boy home to their gorgeous house, situated in Primrose Hill in London.

The star, as expected, has a seriously stylish home with a statement staircase, glamorous interiors and rustic walls and flooring.

The loved-up couple live with their pet cats and occasionally share snaps of them living amongst the luxury of the London home.

Inside, you’ll come across a stunning entrance hall which stops you in your tracks with the allure of exposed brick walls, stacked firewood and winding wooden stairs leading up to the next level of the home.

The shiny grey floors pave your journey through the abode, first to an airy living area with elegant white doors.

A range of butterfly prints hang on the wall, and a stylish circular bar houses alcohol. A glance into the large mirror sitting centerstage sees you catch a glimpse at a luxurious chandelier hanging from the ceiling, while a cosy sofa also sits in the room.

The lounge boasts herringbone floors, as does most of the home, and throughout the abode it’s possible to spot vintage furniture pieces.

Perhaps one of the coolest spots in the Primrose Hill home is the office which is awash with indoor plants and abuzz with bright flashing neon lights and, in true O’Leary style, exposed brick walls.

Moving through to the kitchen you’ll discover another spacious room with an anchor shaped light being the main focus of the space.

Shelves are busy with kitchen essentials and it seems Dee enjoys flipping pancakes in the space, because why not?

The house also features an array of selfie spots, from long mirrors in the dressing room to the hallway, which also has a full-length mirror perfect for papping photos.

The couple have also shared a peek at the bathroom too, with a snap of their sweet cat cheekily sitting in the sink.

The modern bathroom follows the same stylish approach as the rest of the abode, with light grey wooden walls as the backdrop while coveted hand wash lines the basin.

Announcing his and Dee's baby news to his 619,000 followers on Saturday 27 June, Dermot penned: “We’re delighted to announce that we’ve had a baby!

“A little boy born on Tuesday 23rd June 2020 (Sankthansaften / Midsummer for you Norwegians) at 8.19am, weighing in at 6lb 13oz.

“Enjoying the cuddles in the newborn bubble… cats yet to be 100% convinced. Lots of love, Dermot & Dee x”.
