Asda is selling GIANT bags of Bournville dark chocolate buttons for £1April 22, 2019
Cadbury delighted chocoholics by announcing the launch of Bournville Giant Buttons.
The confectioner’s new product is its first ever dark choccy sharing bag, allowing those with a sweet tooth to indulge with their pals.
While the item has a RRP of £1.99, they are being sold much cheaper at Asda.
Here’s everything you need to know about the offer.
Asda customers can pick up the Bournville Giant Buttons for a quid – which is almost half the cost of the RRP.
The products are also slightly cheaper at Tesco and Sainsbury’s, where they retail for £1.50.
According to the item description, shoppers can expect to experience: “Smooth dark chocolate Giant Buttons with that distinctly chocolatey Bournville taste.”
They’re completely vegan and are a richer alternative to Cadbury Milk Chocolate Buttons.
The product launch comes after pictures of the Cadbury product began circulating online in February.
While the dark chocolate was unreleased at that time, shoppers caught wind they were about to launch.
It’s safe to say the news took Twitter by storm, with one commenter gushing: “Is this real life I am gonna eat 1,000 bags”.
Another responder wrote: “I didn’t realise how much I needed these.”
A third added: “Running to Tesco.”
