The Christmas season calls for a lot of food, alcohol and movies, of course.

Some of the most common films to crop up during the season are Home Alone, Elf and also Love Actually.

Oh and not forgetting The Holiday as well…

Speaking of the classic Christmas film, a cottage in the village where it was filmed is now on the property market.

Sadly it's not the exact cottage where Iris lives, but it's in Shere, Surrey, and it's just as adorable as the actual one.

The three-bedroom home is up for sale for £1,150,000 through Savills.

Shere is situated within the Guildford district of Surrey and it's considered one of the prettiest English towns.

It's only an hour away from London with a village that contains a bakery, two pubs and a Post Office.

The Grade II listed cottage dating from 1742 boasts 5,999sq ft space spread over three floors.

On the ground floor is a sitting room complete with a wood burning stove, a dining room, as well as a kitchen and breakfast room.

When you head upstairs you'll find the first floor with original pitch pine wall panels, leading to two bedrooms and a bathroom.

On the next floor up you can find another bedroom and a shower room too.

As for the outdoor space, there's a gravel patio to the rear of the house, plus steps leading to a lawn area.

There's also a paved terrace with views to the South Downs, so you can sit and sip your hot chocolate while taking in the views.

Just remember when you plan on putting in an offer, Jude Law's character sadly won't be there. Head on the Savills website now.
