Summer is here! And with it has come a huge wave of brilliant new beauty. Here we round up some of our favourite launches…

Lancome Renergie HPN 300-Peptide Cream, £83

This luxurious face cream boasts a truly impressive line-up of wrinkle-busting ingredients. As the name would suggest, there are peptides – 300 of them no less – which play a key role in boosting the structure of the skin. There’s also hydrating hyaluronic acid and soothing niacinamide.

Dolce & Gabbana Q, from £61

D&G’s latest fragrance is truly fit for a queen, combining notes of lemon, cherry and cedarwood to create a woody, fruity scent. Evocative of stone-fruit picking on a warm summer’s day, it’s uplifting, warm and addictive.

Acqua di Parma Blu Mediterraneo Arancia Spugnatura, £157

This holiday-transporting fragrance is like biting into a juicy orange on a sunsoaked morning in Italy. Notes of lemon, mandarin, bitter almond and black pepper combine to make a scent so evocative of heady summer days, you can almost feel the heat.

Weleda Nourishing Cleansing Balm, £12.95

This beautiful cleanser is welcome addition to natural skincare brand Weleda’s much-loved Skin Food product line-up. Containing skin-kind sunflower oil, calendula and chamomile, the oil-tomilk formula gently and effectively removes lingering make-up and impurities, leaving skin feeling hydrated and comfortable after each wash.

Hourglass Voyeur Eyeshadow Sticks, £35

Add a touch of sparkle to your look with these creamy, iridescent shadow sticks. Beautifully formulated, there are seven long-wearing metallics to choose from, including sunkissed copper Phoenix and edgy plum Galaxy (shown in pic). Super versatile, you can use them along the lash line, or wash them over the lid.

Merit Shade Slick Gelees, £26

It was love at first swipe with these moisture-rich lip washes. Beautifully formulated with plantbased squalane and quinoa seed oil, they provide long-lasting hydration and a subtle wash of pigment. Available in four shades, our favourite is the sheer neutral Jete.

Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Lip Blur, £27

Available in eight shades, including nudes, berries, reds and pinks, like best-selling Pillow Talk, the soft-focus matte formula has a gently blurring effect on lips and a pretty finish. It’s hydrating and comfortable, with hyaluronic acid, yet impressively long-wearing.

Vichy’s Mineral 89 72h Moisture Boosting Cream, £22

We’ve long been fans of Vichy’s Mineral 89 – the serums are unbeatable for adding moisture back into the skin. And we are happy to confirm its sister, the 72h Moisture Boosting Cream, containing humectants hyaluronic acid, squalane and vitamin E, is every bit as brilliant.

Estee Lauder L’Eau de Lumiere, £64

Estee Lauder releases a limited edition update to its classic Bronze Goddess scent each year, and the latest – L’Eau de Lumiere – might be the best yet.Like a tropical holiday in a bottle, it has notes evocative of suncream on warm skin – coconut milk, lemon leaves and mandarin.

Sunday Riley B3 Nice, £54

We love a product that provides truly visible results. Enter this efficacious serum, which contains 10 per cent niacinamide to regulate oil production, as well as reduce any dark spots and redness in weeks. It’s silky smooth and sinks into skin with ease.

Shu Uemura Art of Hair Izumi Hair Tonic, £43.95

In our war against frizz, this is our new secret weapon. Containing rice water, an ancient Japanese remedy to strengthen the hair, the no-rinse formula is spritzed on to wet locks, and works to condition, tame and also add shine.

Boy Smells De Nimes Candle, £44

Inspired by Nimes in France, the home of denim, the De Nimes scented candle from indie candle brand Boy Smells evokes that fresh, sexy and invigorating feeling of pulling on a new pair of jeans. Notes of violet, eucalyptus and blueberry, along with almond, rhubarb and salty ambergris create an earthy, spicy and addictive home fragrance.
