GETTING yourself a bargain can really brighten up your day.

So it's little surprise several savvy shoppers have rushed online to show off the hugely discounted items they managed to nab in Matalan's mega sale – and prices start from as little as 10p.

One woman named Gemma Bryson kindly shared the deal she spotted to money-saving Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK so that others could get themselves a bargain, too.

Alongside an image of bikinis hanging on the rails in store, she penned: "Loads of bikini bottoms and tops reduced to as low as 10p in the Matalan clearance store.

"They are all separate but if you can be bothered looking through it all I’m sure you will find fab bargains!

"Some kids summer sandals down to like £2.50 as well."

She showed a snap of the £28 white pampas wreath she purchased for the reduced price of just £8 – meaning a whopping £20 saving.

And if you're looking to add a cosy touch to your living space, then look no further than the faux mohair patterned throw that Kimberly Mcleish found in the sale.

She penned: "Reduced from £22.50 to £7 in Matalan – the cashier could not confirm if this would be in all stores but she's certain most stores will have sales to make way for spring/summer stuff."
