Queen Letizia of Spain, 47, was joined by her husband Felipe VI of Spain, 52, on the day trip. She showed off her effortlessly chic style in the casual floaty dress.

The couple visited Mallorca with their two children, Leonor, Princess of Asturias, 14, and Infanta Sofía of Spain, 13.

The Spanish Royal Family were spotted visiting the Fray Junipero Serra birth house and museum.

They all wore face masks and residents took to the streets to greet them.

Many members of the crowds were also wearing face coverings.

Queen Letizia dressed for the warm summer day wearing a floaty red dress.

The gown is the ‘Textured Midi Dress With Belt’ from Spanish designer Adolfo Dominguez.

Originally on sale for €274, or around £246, it is currently reduced to €149, or £133.

The sleeveless midi dress had a v-neckline and oversized fit.

Queen Letizia wore it with a chunky tie belt with brown buckle that highlighted her slender waistline.

She paired the look with her Uterque’s Tied Leather Wedges, which cost £99.

The Spanish monarch dressed up the look by wearing subtle pieces from her jewellery collection.

Queen Letizia re-wore a pair of gold bamboo hoops from Coolook, which cost just £80.

She also recycled the Karen Hallam gold plated silver signature ring, £80.

Her long brown locks were worn down and styled into a straight blow-dry.

While some of her makeup was hidden behind a face mask, she made a statement with her signature smokey eye look.

Putting safety first, the family appeared to be wearing single use face masks.

The day out was part of the Royal Family’s summer holiday to the Balearic Islands.

They are currently staying at the Marivent Palace in Palma de Mallorca.

Queen Letizia also visited the Santuari de la Mare de Déu de Bonany, the church where Pare Serra is said to have preached.
