It could be the easiest cleaning hack we've ever come across – and the cheapest, too.

Included in a round-up of cleaning tips on Fabiosa, all you'll need for the genius hack is a tube of menthol toothpaste.

The hack – which has also featured on the 5-Minute Hacks Facebook page – is pretty straightforward – simply take the tube of toothpaste, pierce several holes (or, cut small incisions with scissors) and place it into the cistern of your toilet.

"I've tried so many sprays and chemicals," she wrote on the Mums Who Clean Facebook group.

"No kidding, it took 5 minutes with a microfibre cloth! The scum basically wiped off straight away!"

Earlier this week, we told you about the Queen of Clean who turned to cleaning to ‘wash away the badness’ after discovering her husband was a PAEDOPHILE.

We also revealed Vodafone has launched a free app to help victims of domestic abuse collect evidence of their tormentors’ behaviour.

And we told you about the woman who launched a classy £250k hen do company from her spare room with just £30.
