As one of the Royal Family’s most important fashion icons, the Princess Royal needs no introduction.

As the only sister of King Charles III, who is now in her seventies, she has had quite the royal career, from becoming the cover girl of VOGUE to being formally recognised as the “hardest working royal” for several years running.

Princess Anne, 72, was once the monarchy’s It-girl, despite the fact her current appearance is quite understated.

The Princess Royal’s style file includes a rich history, including miniskirts, 1970s flowers, and even donning magnificent tiaras before it was permitted.

Princess Anne’s style in her thirties took place during the 1980s. Photos from the royal’s encounter with King Constantine of Greece in London recently resurfaced.

They capture the royal wearing a stunning blue silk dress with a very provocative neckline.

Anne was dressed in a lovely striped halterneck dress with a tight bodice, a backless design, and a full skater skirt.

She looked so elegant in the spectacular dress, but likely broke royal protocol with her bare shoulders and exposed cleavage.

The sister of the King wore her raven hair in her trademark chignon, a look she has favoured for nearly 50 years.

She added elegance to her evening attire with stunning pearl stud earrings and a triple of pearl necklaces around her neck.

Princess Anne carried a black leather clutch bag as part of her ensemble, and her wrist was decorated with a number of gold bangles.

Royal females are permitted to show their shoulders. In reality, the Princess of Wales has worn a number of Bardot gowns on the red carpet.

In addition, the late Princess Diana’s spectacular embellished strapless dresses and bejewelled off-the-shoulder gowns serve as a tribute to her fashion sense.

The Princess Royal has never been hesitant to deviate from accepted royal attire conventions. She wore a canary silk blouse over a cloud-blue fitted pantsuit back in 1973.
