Numerology expert claims 2020 was always going to be a ‘dark, scary’ year – but 2021 is going to be ‘amazing’

December 2, 2020

LET'S not beat around the bush here – 2020 has been an absolute shocker of a year.

From the devastating global pandemic right down to our epic home baking fails, the past 12 months haven't turned out quite as we planned… but according to a numerology expert, 2021 will be a lot brighter.

Speaking to Body + Soul, expert Josy Curcio claimed that 2020 was always destined to be a "dark, scary" year because of the double digits.

She said: "A number has an influence, has a personality. And just like personalities in life – we’ve got our negative traits, we’ve got our positive traits – in numerology, you’ve got positive and negative too."

Analysing 2020, Josy claims the number 2 is "all about nurturing your self-growth".

So having two of them in one year has forced us all to reflect on our lives – and we certainly had enough time to do this during our multiple lockdowns.

There’s definitely that light at the end of the tunnel in 2021.

Meanwhile, Josy claims the double zero is what made this year so "scary".

She continued: "The zero represents either a hole; being in the darkness."

And when you add up 2020's numbers, it makes four – which is usually associated with "creating a better life" but only if you're willing to put in the work.

Explaining how 2020 was always going to "shake our foundations", the expert added: "I knew this year was going to be tough – but I had no idea it was going to be to this level."

But it's not all doom and gloom, as Josy believes we're in for an "amazing" 2021.

The numbers that make up next year add up to five – which the expert says represent the sky and ocean and their endless possibilities.

For those people who have used 2020 to reflect on themselves, Josy says that next year will be a huge improvement.

But according to the expert, those who haven't experienced any self-growth in 2020 will continue to be "stuck in their selfish ways".
