Mums are snapping up last minute Christmas presents in the sales including £5 roller trainers & half price Frozen dolls

January 20, 2022

WITH Christmas just a couple of days a way, mums are sweeping the shelves for those last few festive gifts for kids.

And with clothes, shoes and toys at unbelievable knock down prices, people are rushing to pick up presents for little ones to unwrap on Christmas day.

Posting on the Facebook group Extreme Coupons and Bargains UK, one person shared a snap of cut-price Frozen dolls they had spotted in their local Home Bargains.

The doll set was priced at £18.99, with a £31 saving according to the shop label.

That bargain hunter appears to be in good company as other people have taken to social media to show off their cheap last-minute toy hauls.

One mum was thrilled to take home a Super Mario Lego starter set for just £19, a massive reduction from the original price of £40 in Asda.

Meanwhile, another eagle-eyed shopper noticed a pair of roller trainers were on sale for just a fiver at Everything5Pounds.com.

It's not just presents being snapped up by thrifty mums – people have also been buying Christmas clothes too.

One eagle-eyed shopper noticed Sainsbury's had reduced the price of their Christmas clobber by 70%.

Taking to Facebook to show off a haul of festive kids' jumpers, tights and dresses, the mum let others know about the unmissable bargain.

People flocked to the post in their droves to tell others about the massive sale, tagging friends to make sure they didn't miss out.
