December 21, 2022A MUM has left people stunned after revealing how you can make a three-course Christmas dinner for a family of four for less than £5.
The mum shared the bargain-friendly Christmas dinner idea on TikTok and people praised the 'seriously impressive' meal.
In a TikTok video posted to her account, This Mum Cooks, she said: I'm going to show you how you can make Christmas dinner for four people, three-courses, for just £5."
The first shop the mum went to was Marks and Spencers where she picked up 600g of chicken legs for just £1.20.
The mum then walked over to Aldi to pick up some sage and onion stuffing mix for just 43p.
Finally, the mum headed to Tesco, where they currently have a selection of vegetables for just 19p a bag when using a Clubcard.

She picked up some potatoes, carrots, sprouts, and parsnips.
The mum added: "Now we've got to move onto our starters, we're going to get ourselves some lovely pâté to go with some bake-at-home bread rolls."
The pâté cost 69p and the par-baked rolls cost 65p from Tesco.
Lastly, the mum finished off with dessert which consisted of a traditional mince pie.

The mum even had 25p left over from her £5 note.
"Yes, you really can make yourself a three- course family Christmas Meal for under £5," she captioned the post.
The video soon went viral with over 145k views and people took to the comments section to praise the mum for sharing her cheap three-course Christmas dinner.
One wrote: "Wow, that’s seriously impressive."
A second person added: "Well done you that's amazing."
A third penned: "Wow, I am impressed."
Meanwhile, a fourth commented: "Wow this is brilliant."
