A WEDDING photo of Meghan Markle has pride of place inside Charles and Camilla's home amid the royal family's rift with Prince Harry.

The Duchess of Cornwall was hosting three female rowers at her home when eagle-eyed royal fans spotted the framed black and white picture of Meghan with Charles on her wedding day in 2018.

Kat Cordiner, Abby Johnstone and Charlotte Irving hold the record for rowing across the Atlantic and were welcomed in celebration of International Women's Day.

The trio smashed the world record by seven days after completed the 3,000 mile journey in 42 days, seven hours and 17 minutes.

Male rower Tim Christian was also in attendance at the reception with the Duchess of Cornwall.

A photo was taken of the group which revealed a number of the personal memorabilia inside Camilla and Prince Charles' home – including the image of Meghan on her wedding day, the Mirror reported.

The big day took place in St George's Chapel, Windsor, in 2018, with just Meghan's mum Doria Ragland in attendance from the bride's family.

The picture's sentimental setting comes after claims Meghan asked Prince Charles if she could meet him "halfway" when he offered to walk her down the aisle, an expert has claimed.

The Prince of Wales is said to have stepped in after it was confirmed Meghan's dad, Thomas Markle, was unable to make her and Harry's wedding.

But Charles is said to have felt for his daughter-in-law and said he would be honoured to escort her to the altar.

A royal expert claims that Camilla was able to see through Meghan's 'tactile performance' just two months after the royal wedding.

Writing for the Sun, Tom Bower says the Duchess of Cornwall was perplexed to learn about Meghan’s explanations about the media war with her father, Thomas Markle – but unlike everyone else, she could see past the great act.

It is feared Harry's tell-all biography, due for release later this year, could take a swipe at the future Queen consort.
