December 8, 2021

EAGLE-eyed fans have spotted that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry gave a secret message on the car they used at their royal wedding.

Three years after their extravagant 2018 nuptials, Sussex fans have zoomed in on the number plate of the Vintage Jaguar E-Type that Harry drove to the reception.

The number plate reads "E190518", which translates to "Established 19 May 2018" – their wedding date.

Excited fans have revealed their thoughts after only just noticing the sweet detail.

One person wrote: “Yoooo I am so embarrassed. I was watching the royal wedding for the 200th time and it’s only now that I noticed the licence plate.”

Another added: “Awwwe! I never knew. Thanks for sharing. Meghan and Harry are so intentional in everything they do.

“Just special. How I wish I knew them in real life?”.

A third replied: “Thanks, I had no clue.”

Harry and Meghan married in front of 600 guests in a wedding estimated to have cost £32million, including security.

Meghan caused a stir after telling Oprah Winfrey during their bombshell chat that she and Harry tied the knot “in our backyard” before the lavish public ceremony at Windsor Castle on May 19, 2018.

Officials later poured cold water on the claim, with Stephen Borton, who drew up the licence for the wedding, telling The Sun Meghan was "obviously confused".

Harry chimed in: “Just the three of us.”

Under the law, a marriage cannot happen without two witnesses present.

A copy of the official wedding certificate confirms the actual ceremony did take place on May 19 at Windsor.
