Meghan Markle and Prince Harry keep SoundCloud accounts open despite vowing to quit social media over trolling

January 11, 2021

HARRY and Meghan claim they have left social media – but they failed to delete their SoundCloud accounts.

The royal couple revealed Archewell Foundation will not have Twitter or Facebook accounts.

Meghan has claimed she is not on social media and says she was the most trolled person of 2019.

But the pair still follow each other on their Soundcloud accounts online – where users share music.

Meghan, 39, used the profile name Bogart&Guy and has 48 followers – including her hubby.

The account – which includes Joni Mitchell and Etta James was named after her pet dogs.

Harry, 36, secretly joined Soundcloud as SpikeyMau5 'Barry Sales' and followed Meg shortly after they started dating.

The prince last logged into his music account, which includes tracks by Bob Marley, last year.

Harry also secretly used SpikeyMau5 on Instagram before deleting it.

The Mau5 refers to his love of house music DJ DeadMau5 and 'Spike' was another of his online aliases Spike Wells.

SoundCloud is described as the world’s largest open audio platform, powered by a connected community of creators, listeners and curators on the pulse of what's new, now and next in culture.

It was founded in 2007 to "empowers the world’s audio creators with the best tools, services and resources to build and grow their careers".

Soundcloud boasts more than 190 million tracks from 20 million profiles and heard in 190 countries.
