A SHOPPER has revealed how she saved £100 on her staycation wardrobe by avoiding the high street.

Bargain lover Chloe Philips, 24, from Newport, used the designer discount website, LovetheSales.com, to bag 10 huge fashion bargains in the sales, just before they sold out.

Speaking to LovetheSales.com Chloe said: “I’m normally a big fan of shopping the high street sales, finding accessible pieces to really build out a capsule wardrobe.

“Shopping online for clothes on sale can be a bit overwhelming, so when I came across LovetheSales.com I was wowed by the speed and simplicity in shopping for bargains. No more FOMO!

“I’m more of a high street style kind of girl so finding great items from brands like Nasty Gal, Miss Selfridge and Nike on sale all in one place meant I could get more for my budget, this is obviously really important right now when money can be tight for all of us.

“One of the biggest surprises for me was the number of new retailers that I discovered selling my favourite brands.”

Chloe continued: “I was initially looking for a smock dress for my upcoming staycation and found an amazing 40 per cent off deal on a Daisy print number from Miss Selfridge.

“After that, I picked up a Gingham Puff dress from Nasty Gal – again perfect for the weather – smocks are really trending at the moment and they’re perfect for the recent heatwave.

“I’m obsessed with ‘backless’ designs, and the site’s search functionality allowed me to find incredible designs all on sale with that theme.

“Probably my favourite find was an Orange and White Gingham print top with balloon sleeves from Asos – it was from a designer I hadn’t previously come across so the site was super helpful in introducing me to new fashion creators.”

“I’m a big fan of jumpsuits too so to find a 40% deal on a stunning backless black piece from NA-KD was a result.”

Stuart McClure, founder of LovetheSales.com commented: “Bargain hunting on the high street is a bit up in the air with local lockdowns.

“This brings uncertainty for shoppers and traditional online hunting can lead to a rabbit warren of different sites and deals. LovetheSales.com is all about using technology to make shopping the sales effortless.

“It’s great to see fashion fans like Chloe embracing our marketplace to make their money go further.”

LovetheSales.com has more than 6 million sales products from 100’s of top UK retailers on the site.

The majority of products on the site are fashion but it also has home, garden, electronics, kids and outdoor items.

In other fashion news, Mrs Hinch has wowed in this £28 In The Style top.

And this woman couldn't afford to make a £53 dress so she made her own for £10.

Plus shoppers are loving Aldi's £3.99 tie dye kits, which come in four colourways and last for ages.
