Kate Middleton and Prince William: A look at their 2020 highlights
Kate Middleton has been given presents of jewellery worth huge sums of money for many years by her husband William, but also the Queen and Prince Charles. This year will be no different as the Duchess of Cambridge turns 39.
The Duchess often keeps her birthday gifts from her husband secret.
Unlike many, the royal is not one to show off her gifts on Instagram on the big day.
For this reason, many of William’s presents for his wife have remained secret.
However, there are a number of pieces understood to be presents from William to Kate on her birthday.

In fact, a gift from last year has proven to be one of Kate’s favourite pieces.
The Gold Midnight Moon necklace by Daniella Draper, £1,020, appeared around Kate’s neck last January.
The piece would be an absolutely perfect present if it is what the Duke brought the Duchess.
The 9ct chain features a large golden disk, which has been personalised with the initials of her children.
They are “G” for George, “C” for Charlotte and “L” for Louis.

The Duchess has worn the piece a number of times since last January.
Another suspected gift is the Maya Torque Aquamarine and Gold Bangle from Halcyon Days.
The £115 also appeared on Kate’s wrist this year.
The piece, inspired by the Caribbean, is made from 18ct gold plated brass with cabochons at each end.
Kate has a huge collection of jewellery, with William also bestowing lavish gifts on her as wedding and anniversary presents.
On their first Christmas, William bought Kate a pair of green amethyst earrings from favourite brand Kiki McDonough.
They were the Grace round drop earrings, which cost £2,200.
For their third wedding anniversary, William gave Kate a Ballon Bleu de Cartier watch, around £6,000, with a bespoke added sapphire to match her engagement ring.
To mark the birth of their son George, William bought Kate a £1,200 18ct white gold eternity ring from Annoushka London.
Kate Middleton wore a pair of the Queen’s most mysterious earrings last month.
Kate appears to have had these earrings on a long term loan. In fact, the Duchess wore them first in 2016 for a Place2Be function.
They have also been referred to as the Diamond Frame Earrings.
