I'm a foodie and here's how I make my crispy roasties – they're the best you'll ever eat | The SunNovember 27, 2022
WHAT’S your favourite part of a Sunday roast?
Some folk pile the Yorkshire puddings onto their plate, and others opt for lashings of gravy. But, arguably the most popular element of the staple British dish is the humble roast potato.
Light and fluffy on the inside, warm and crispy on the outside – there’s nothing we don’t love about a perfectly-cooked spud.
The problem is, with different ovens and appliances, oils, butters and herbs, the starchy staple can sometimes come out dry or the complete opposite – far too oily and soft.
It’s a nightmare we’d rather avoid, especially with Christmas upon us. So, how do we get a top notch roast potato every single time?
Thankfully, one enthusiastic foodie has gone the extra mile for all of us and introduced her failsafe method to impress guests – and your own taste buds – each time we serve them.
