SUPERMARKET staff meet hundreds of people a day.

But that doesn't mean they don't hear the same thing again and again.

If you've ever worked in a supermarket – then you'll know just how annoying it can be.

And Asda worker, Lee Obrien, from the UK, revealed on TikTok just some of the remarks he gets on a daily basis form certain types of customers.

According to the Asda employee, old women are constantly moaning at him, saying that it 'wouldn't hurt you to smile.'

Lee legally has to ID people buying alcohol and other over-18 products, if they look younger than 25.

Yet he still gets the same comment from young men when he does.

"ID? I never get asked for that lol," they quip.

It's not uncommon for people to use the wrong card or put the wrong pin in the card machine.

But as soon as they're card declines customers always say the same thing to Lee.

Lee also finds it annoying when teenagers constantly ask him how much the meal deal is.

If you've ever stepped foot in a supermarket, which you probably have, you'll know that the price of the meal deal is plastered everywhere in the ready-to-go section.

Finally, the last type of customer that gives Lee grief is the middle-aged business man.

These types like to sarcastically point out: "It's a lovely day, shame you're in here."

And it seemed Lee wasn't alone as the comments were filled with other people working in retail who could relate.

One wrote: "I work in retail and get these a lot."
