I was left gobsmacked when my friend told me her baby's name – people are already coming up with nicknames to tease her

COMING up with the perfect baby name is an arduous task for any new parent – after all, not everyone is going to be a fan.

But one thing definitely worth considering is how the chosen moniker sounds when paired with the middle and surname.

Unfortunately, one anonymous woman, from the US, explained how that was overlooked by her friend, who decided to name her daughter Olive Arden, which is noticeably very similar to "olive garden."

Taking to Reddit, the woman explained: "Arden is their mother’s name, so it’s going to be the middle name of the girl to honour her."

They want to name the girl Olive to fit in with her older sister, Jade."

However, it wasn't long before social media users took to the comments section to discuss the amusing similarities.
