I gave my son’s room the ultimate makeover on the cheap – I nabbed bargain buys from B&M & Amazon & people are stunned | The Sun

A MOTHER has revealed that she gave her son’s bedroom the ultimate makeover on the cheap.

Using bargain buys from B&M and Amazon, mum-of-three Beatt Nicole was able to give her little boy Theo a stunning place to sleep and relax.

Beatt explained that her young son shares a room with her and her partner and before she gave it a makeover it was a very plain space.

However, thanks to her cheap finds, Beatt was able to completely modernise the corner of the room.

Beatt proudly took to Facebook to show off the epic room makeover, leaving many open-mouthed.

Posting in the Facebook group, Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group, which has 2.2million members, the thrilled shopper shared a picture of her son’s bedroom area, before and after its overhaul.

She said: “Decorated my little boy's corner of our room for around £75 all in!”

Beatt then explained that she got an upcycled wooden cot and then used paint from Amazon for just £12 to give it a stunning new look.

Also from Amazon, she nabbed wall transfer stickers for £7.50, a two pack of swing shelves for £12.99 and bedding for £16.99.

Then from B&M, Beatt bought teddies for £6 each and three packs of tubs for £8.

For around £75, Beatt was able to give her son’s space a complete modernisation.

The once plain walls were injected with personality with animal-themed stickers, hanging plants and Theo’s favourite soft toys.

The originally brown cot was given a glam new look with the cheap Amazon paint, perfectly matching the curtains.

Beatt later explained that her youngest child shares a room with her and her partner, because her 15-year-old daughter and her seven-year-old son have their own rooms.

She added: “I don’t [have space]. Once he’s older I’ll put him with my son, but he still wakes during the night and don’t want my older son disturbed when he has school in the morning.”

Beatt’s post has clearly impressed many, as it was shared just 16 hours ago, but has quickly amassed 1,400 likes and 80 comments.

Social media users were stunned at the overhaul and were eager to take to the comments to express this.

One person said: “Looks beautiful, you’ve done great.”

Another added: “What a big difference. Looks amazing.”

A third commented: “Oh that looks fab and looks a lot more expensive than what you paid, amazing job.”
