WE'RE all guilty of chucking out a baking tray once it gets too grubby beyond repair, but turns out you can actually get it looking new again – and it's really pretty easy.
One bloke claims white vinegar and bicarbonate of soda is all you need to get them sparkling – and while you won't be spending hours scrubbing, a little elbow grease is still required.
His useful hack works so well, in fact, that he reckons he can see his face in it after removing all the burnt on food and grease.
The bloke known as hazz_jazz on TikTok shared a clip of the hack in action and the results are incredible.
He demonstrates chucking a load ofbicarbonate of soda into the tray, making sure it covers the entire surface area before pouring white vinegar on top.
You'll see it start to fizz and foam and that's when you now the magic is happening.
Next, the bloke uses a sponge or steel wool to spread the mix to the edges of the tray and leaves it to soak for half an hour.
When returning, he gives it a little wipe over and rinses out the cleaning solution before getting to work on scrubbing,
With a little patience, you'll see the blackened grime lift to reveal a sparkling new-looking tray underneath – with your reflection looking straight back at you, or at least this bloke reckons.
While some were impressed by the cheap makeover, many thought it wasn't worth it and suggested just buy new trays anyways.
Others suggested putting foil down every time you cook which will help keep the trays in good condition.
