AS MORE of us become double-vaccinated and begin planning trips abroad again, it can be difficult to find a good time or price for flights.
However, there are some tricks to finding flights as low as £10.

“If you want a break but don’t have a specific destination in mind, the locations I’ve handpicked by browsing Google Flights are much cheaper to visit before the festive period hits.”
Visit Barcelona For Just £20 – Save £17
Barcelona is the perfect place to visit if you want a diverse city break. There’s impressive architecture, art museums, graffiti galore and picture-perfect walks down cobbled streets.
If you can free up 15-24 November there’s a 2hr10 flight from London Stansted for just £20 with Ryanair. Between December and January the average price is £37, so November is the perfect time to book your getaway.
Fly To Lisbon For Half Price With This £20 Deal
Overlooking the Tagus River, Lisbon offers tourists a mild Mediterranean climate with plenty of sunshine in the colder months. Make the most of unique transport options, with yellow trams, Gothic elevators and tuk tuks just a few of the ways you can get around.
Steeped in culture, Lisbon is ideal for exploring stunning artwork and capturing beautiful castle panoramas. Between 18-24 November, you can get there in just under 3 hours with Ryanair from London Stansted for £20.
Considering that prices shoot up to almost £40 in December for many dates, the middle of November is ideal for grabbing a bargain price.
Save Up To £20 With Bargain £10 Budapest Flights
Budapest is home to tons of must-see landmarks. There’s a reason many call it the Paris of the East – from chic cafes to breath-taking boutiques, you’ll never be stuck for things to do.
Particular highlights include the thermal baths and underground adventures to view caves covered in stalactites.
Between 6 and 12 November you can fly there with Ryanair from London Stansted for just £10 non-stop – but if you wait until December or January prices risk going up to the £30 range.
Milan is £10 in November – and £36 in December
This famous Northern Italian city is perfect for exploring historical buildings, Gothic cathedrals and visiting art museums.
Packed with culture, you can take a tour down the Navigli canals and wander around the bohemian Brera area. Plus, who can resist the appeal of Italian ice cream? November is the best time to visit, as flights are just £10.
The prices shoot up during the next few months with the average being around £30 and the highest being £36 in December and January. Check out the flight departing London Stansted on 4th November and returning on the 10th – it takes just under 2 hours to get there.
Bag a £10 Bargain To Bucharest – Save Over £20
This capital city in southern Romania is quickly becoming a popular tourist destination.
With a unique mix of old and new, the streets are full of chic bars and shops, art galleries and picturesque cafes.
Take a trip further afield to the historic Bran Castle and learn more about the setting which reportedly inspired Bram Stoker’s Dracula.
While December and January are both good months for bargain flights, the average price is still £36 – much more than the £10 flights on offer throughout the month of November. Fly from London Stansted between 4-10 November with Ryanair and pay just £10, saving over £20.
See Frankfurt For £16 – Save Over £100
For a taste of German culture, check out this unique city in the centre of the country on the river Main. It’s known as a major financial hub, but there’s plenty on offer for tourists. This location is great for shopping, where there are specialist boutiques for everything from women’s knitwear to apple wine.
Take a tour on the charming and old-fashioned Ebbelwei Express tram, and explore the stunning botanical gardens. I recommend November for a cheap break, as Ryanair is doing a £16 flight from London Stansted.
There are currently only a few flights a month showing in December and January, but most of November is bargain central with £16 flights showing for most of the month. If you wait until December prices begin rocketing up to highs such as £125!
Explore Madrid For £180 Less With Bargain £20 Flights
The capital of Spain is a hub for European art and culture. This modern city features plenty of scenic spots, from pavement cafes to chic shopping streets.
You can check out the famous football grounds, explore nature in a hidden garden and enjoy stunning architecture. November is a great time to go, as if you time it right you can get there for just £20 from London Stansted with Ryanair.
These prices disappear in December, as the average is £50 and the highest is £202! In other words, you’d be saving £180 by hopping on a flight before the Christmas season.
