TOWIE star is totally unrecognisable in blonde wigJanuary 9, 2019
Jess Wright proved that she is something of a style chameleon after debuting a new blonde hair do.
Normally a brunette the TOWIE alum, 33, posted a snap of herself with lighter hair but was quick to clear up any confusion pointing out that she was wearing a wig.
The reality star was pictured in a crop tight showing off her enviable figure while promoting a fitness platform, encouraging her followers to start working out in the colder months so they could wear skimpy clothing in the summer.
While some of her fans complimented the temporary look asking her where she got the wig from, others complained the message wasn’t very body postitive.
She faced backlash from some commenters who criticised the message she was sending to her fans.
It read alongside several hashtags: "Work out now, so that when summer comes you can wear a crop top & not want to run & hide from the world, which is how I feel right now in one."
"This is a horrible message to send to other women,’ wrote one.
"Shocking message. Makes me really sad for impressionable girls who think this is how they have to be. Eat well, exercise and just be who you wanna be!!" said another.
"Why would you want to run and hide from the world in a crop top now? Regardless of if this is a paid partnership or not, this is a really damaging message to send young women and your wider audience of followers.
"Becoming fitter is one thing but "Christmas ate my abs" and the language you’ve used in this promotion isn’t empowering at all," said a third.
"Nah mate, no one needs to run and hide from the world just because they don’t have abs. Pretty f***ing horrid message to send girlfriend,’ said one.
"Anyone can wear a crop top and no one should ever feel like they want to run and hide!! This makes me so sad to read please to anyone reading this you can wear whatever you want and never feel like you have to hide!!!’ complained another unhappy follower.
