It comes after Jo was quizzed on when she and Darrin tied the knot and whether they would consider having children.

The TV star divulged: “We got married a few years ago.”

Jo revealed that although she likes the “idea” of becoming a mother at some point, she and her partner haven’t been in that “space” just yet.

She shared: “The idea of kids seems nice but we’ve never been in the space where we’ve said, ‘Let’s have children.'”

Jo went on to express her thoughts over women who feel “apologetic” for not wanting children.

She discussed further in this week’s OK! Magazine: “A lot of women feel apologetic or feel the need to make excuses for not having children but women don’t need to if they don’t want to.”

Jo then opened up about the time she met Darrin and explained why their relationship wasn’t “conventional” to begin with.

“He’s behind the camera and I’m in front of it. We’ve known each other over a decade,” she said.

While Jo was on the road in America for seven years, this meant she couldn’t get to know anyone.

The TV presenter added: “It wasn’t conventional dating and we struck up a friendship at first, but it didn’t stop the feelings you have for someone.

“He’s not only incredibly handsome, but he really understood my commitment to work. We took the relationship at the pace we could.”

Back in 2014, Jo opened up about their relationship after getting engaged.

“He is just an incredible man who is very well-loved by my friends and family – a great all-round guy,” the Supernanny star told the Mirror.

“He brings a lot of love into my life.”

She continued: “He has a good heart. He gets what I do and is a real cheerleader for it.”

Jo has previously confessed Darrin is a “strong support” for her while she’s busy with work commitments.

“We’ve known each other for a long time, and he’s supportive and gets the work I do,” she told the Daily Mail in 2013.

“When I’m rushing around here, there and everywhere, he’s very much a strong support for me.”

After Jo first starred on Supernanny UK in 2004, she went on to feature in the American version and host Jo Frost: Extreme Parental Guidance in 2010.

Jo is also known for giving talks and speeches about parental and familial issues.
