Harry Potter star Rupert Grint ‘couldn’t even guess’ how much money is in his bank account (but says his £28 million net worth makes him ‘comfortable’)
Rupert Grint admitted he has no idea how much money he has in his bank account.
The Harry Potter star, 30, is worth around £28 million and has said he’s content knowing he has enough assets to lead a ‘comfortable’ life, without constantly checking up on his finances.
The actor made the candid confession during an interview in the Radio Times Christmas edition, revealing: ‘I actually don’t know how much I have. I couldn’t even really guess.’

He catapulted to fame along with his fellow young co-stars Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter) and Emma Watson (Hermione Granger) with the release of the first film Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone in 2001.
Because of his fame at such a young age, Rupert has gone to the extent of wearing masks as a disguise so he can get out and about without having fans hounding him.

Discussing the reason why, he quipped: ‘Sometimes you just want to go to B&Q.’
And Rupert also admitted that the intensity of fame meant he ‘lost’ himself in it all, as he explained honestly: ‘I struggle to remember life before it. I think I lost myself a little bit along the way.’
Rupert’s co star Daniel has an estimated net worth of £87 million, while Emma is worth £57 million.
Since the films, Rupert has starred in a slew of TV roles, including the sitcom Sick Note and the crime drama Snatch.
He was spotted earlier this year filming scenes for a role in the adaptation of the Agatha Christie novel ABC Murders, where he donned a sharp suit and neat moustache.

Rupert recently revealed he almost quit playing his character Ronald Weasley after the fourth installment of the Harry Potter franchise.
The actor said there were times he felt like he was ‘done’, with those feelings reaching its height after filming for Harry Potter and The Goblet Of Fire ended.
He told The Independent: ‘I had just finished my GCSEs, I thought “Do I actually want to keep doing this?”.
It’s a bit of a drag because obviously it’s a big sacrifice.
‘You take for granted anonymity, just doing normal stuff, just going out, everything was different and a little bit scary. There were times when I was like “I’m done”.’
