This Morning viewers haven't seen much of Alison Hammond recently as she has had some time away from presenting the ITV show after not feeling very well.

Now she is feeling more like herself again, the presenter, 46, returned to work and joined Rochelle Humes, 32, to host the daytime programme.

It's clear Alison is making up for lost time as This Morning fans saw the hosts have a dance to the song Sisters Are Doing It For Themselves to celebrate Alison returning.

"Good morning everyone," Alison said with excitement, while the hit track was playing.

"Good morning. And welcome to your Wednesday on This Morning," mum of three Rochelle added. "Sisters!"

Alison added: "I like the music. Can we… sisters from another mister."

The two of them then stood up from their chairs to have a proper dance together with their hands up in the air.

The former Big Brother star then asked Rochelle: "How are you doing, babe?"

"I'm doing really good," she replied, before Alison complimented the presenter on her look.

For her first day back at work, Alison opted for a leopard print maxi dress with a black cardigan over the top.

"You look stunning," said Alison, leading Rochelle to respond with: "Erm, says she! You look incredible."

Alison continued: "You went for this lovely cream palette today."

Before Rochelle was able to thank Alison for the compliment, she noticed her co-host's hair was misbehaving.

"Wait, fix this bit," she said while pointing at her hair. "You'll be sorry about that if I don't tell you."

When Alison was recovering from illness at home, Eamonn Holmes stepped in to replace the star as he presented alongside Rochelle.

Announcing the decision on Twitter, he wrote: "Just when you thought you’d got rid of me … sickness with @AlisonHammond and @vernonkay means I’m off the bench.

“Get well soon to them but I have my boots on and I’m ready to play. Monday and Tues line up is now myself and @RochelleHumes. Hope you can join us.”
