Paul Stanley Says It’s ‘Not Feasible’ For KISS To Continue After ‘End Of The Road’ Tour

Paul Stanley has made it clear that it is “not feasible” for KISS to continue after the band’s farewell tour.

The KISS singer and guitarist made the acknowledgement in an interview with Rolling Stone.

“We’ve come to the conclusion that we can’t continue [as a touring band]. It’s not feasible,” Stanley said. “If we were wearing jeans and T-shirts, we could do this into our eighties or nineties, but we’re carrying around 40 and 50 pounds of gear for a couple of hours.”

He added, “There’s an age factor, which makes it more real for people who may have doubted the idea of the ‘end of the road.'”

In a separate interview, Stanley ruled KISS producing any new music before the farewell tour.

“I don’t really see a reason for it, to be quite honest,” he told USA Today. “Honestly, at this point, there isn’t a real reward in it. There’s much more of a reward in changing lanes — I’m still going forward. But in terms of recording more KISS material, I kind of go, ‘Why?'” he added.
