GB News star Kirsty Gallacher, 45, has shared an outfit dilemma with her 355,000 Instagram followers after she was worried it wasn’t “appropriate”.

Kirsty showed off her sculpted arms in a black halter-neck jumpsuit as she posed in front of a staircase.

The presenter wore her long brunette hair in a sleek ponytail and styled the look with gold jewellery.

Posting to her Instagram story, she wrote: “Not sure this attire is appropriate for the weather.

“But it is Christmas!”

It comes after Kirsty announced she was stepping back from GB News due to a health concern.

The presenter had quit Sky News to join the channel and co-hosted the Great British Breakfast since it launched in June.

She broke the news to her followers in a statement that read: “During the summer I discovered I have a tumour in the inner canal of my right ear.

“Thankfully, it’s benign and not hugely detrimental to my normal life.

“However, the tumour has caused severe tinnitus which makes it very difficult to sleep.

“Sadly my 3am starts at GB News, compounded by sleep deprivation, are exacerbating my symptoms.”

“I have taken the difficult decision to take a step back from my role on the Great British Breakfast while I focus on my health.

“GB News has been incredibly supportive of me and I look forward to returning to the channel as soon as I can.

“As I adjust to managing my condition, I will carry on my less disruptive work commitments and continue maintaining a healthy lifestyle and training so I can get back to my normal routine quickly.”

The presenter signed off the post with her name and a kiss.

The post received almost 16,000 likes and hundreds of comments from concerned fans and loved ones.

GMB’s Charlotte Hawkins penned: “Oh no, so sorry to hear that, sending love.”

Former Coronation Street actress Catherine Tyldesley added: “Oh darling. Sending healing and a bear hug. Get well soon.”

Paddy McGuinness echoed: “A bit of time out, get yourself right and you’ll be back stronger than ever.”

GB News’ own social media page also commented, writing: “Wishing you all the best @TheRealKirstyG and good luck with your recovery, from all your friends at GB News.”
