MLB Star Anthony Bass Fires Back at Trolls Mom-Shaming His Wife Amid United Airlines Drama

The drama started after the athlete alleges that a United Airlines flight attendant made his 22-week pregnant wife, Sydney Rae Bass, ‘get on her hands and knees to pick up the popcorn mess’ left by their toddler.

AceShowbiz –Anthony Bass has come to his wife Sidney’s defense amid the United Airlines drama. The MLB pitcher, who claimed he and his family received unfair treatment from a flight attendant, fired back at those who mom-shamed his pregnant wife.

It all started after Anthony voiced his frustration on Twitter. He argued, “The flight attendant @united just made my 22-week pregnant wife traveling with a 5-year-old and 2-year-old get on her hands and knees to pick up the popcorn mess by my youngest daughter. Are you kidding me?!?!”

One user then replied to Anthony’s tweet by writing, “Pregnant women can bend. They may not want to but the solution to that would be to not give your child popcorn on a plane.” In response, the athlete explained, “One last comment about today’s incident, United provided the popcorn, but my wife.”

The baseball player went on to hit back at someone who suggested, “Be a decent human and if your going to give your kid popcorn on a plane be prepared to pick it up.” Being sarcastic, he wrote back. “You are the perfect parent. You can do no wrong.”

Anthony, however, seemingly has settled the issue with United Airlines. He said the company “is taking care of matters with the flight attendant internally.”

Also, on Monday, Anthony shared a photo of his daughter Blaire smiling while holding a bag of Skinny Pop popcorn. His wife also shared the same picture on her own page and captioned it, “She so cute.”
