Melania Trump’s low profile life amid Donald’s arrest: ‘She wants nothing to do with it’

August 27, 2023

Melania Trump is keeping a low profile after her husband, Donald Trump, turned himself in Atlanta in the USA earlier today, 25 August, after being indicted on several charges.

The 53 year old was regularly seen at public events when her husband was president and during his campaign for the 2024 election, but is now rarely seen.

Insiders say that the couple has been living at their Mar-A-Lago resort at Palm Beach in Florida with their 17 year old son Baron, but they apparently “barely cross” paths.

Over the summer, Melania spent a lot of her time in New York with the hope of keeping out of her husband's legal issues.

A source told People that despite supporting Trump, she would rather lead a life with more privacy: "Melania publicly supports her husband but privately prefers a life with 100 percent privacy and no press scrutiny. She knows how her husband is but still believes there has been too much dumping on him and wants nothing to do with any of it.”

The source continued: “She hates all of the legal problems and says very little about them anytime, anywhere. She leads her own life.

“Melania has a small circle of family and very few trusted friends. Unlike others who belong to her husband's clubs, she doesn't rely on outside stimulants to guide her daily life. She has her son, other family members, and select friends.”

They concluded by saying that his legal issues was another problem for her husband. Not for her.”

There is rumour that she plans on divorcing the 77 year old, who no longer speaks to pal Piers Morgan, and renegotiating their prenup, with her focus being on raising their son.

Trump’s arrest could be the final straw as he has previously had affairs with two women: porn star Stormy Daniels and Playboy model Karen McDougal.

A source said: “Melania is no different to any woman. Having her husband accused of cheating on her not just once but twice is extremely disturbing. There is little wonder people believe it's not just the criminal court Trump is heading to but possibly a divorce one too."

Divorce is far from the mind of the former president’s youngest daughter, Tiffany, who got married in November last year.

The 29 year old married her husband, 25 year old Michael Boulos in a lavish ceremony at Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago Club.

Her mum, Marla, told People: “We are focused on this sacred union and welcoming beloved friends and family, not on politics. This was Tiffany's childhood home and where she was brought into the world."
