Kirstie Allsopp, 49, made an awkward error this evening while she shared some incorrect news about new episodes of her show Location, Location, Location. The presenter took to Twitter to inform her 426,000 followers that the show will be airing on Channel 4 tonight.

However, her co-host Phil Spencer, 51, was quick to call out Kirstie on her mistake, as the programme is actually set to air tomorrow evening.

Kirstie penned: “More new @C4Locations tonight on Channel 4 at 8pm.

“@PhilSpencerTV and I trying our best, will it be good enough this week?”

After her tweet sparked confusion amongst fans, Phil took to the comments section and replied: “Whoops. Bit premature Kirstles!!”

Fans joined Phil in airing their thoughts about Kirstie’s blunder.

One person joked: “Thanks Kirstie…nearly got whiplash diving for the remote control thinking it wasn’t recording you’ll be hearing from my lawyer.”

Another added: “I was looking for it too … and was all confused.”

A third fan commented: “I’m watching and all I can see is The Great British Bake Off?”

“Tonight meaning tomorrow night??” a fourth person penned.

After realising her error, Kirstie took to Twitter again to issue an apology to fans.

The presenter admitted alongside several flushed face emojis: “S**t, it’s Tuesday, so sorry!”

Fortunately, many fans understood Kirstie’s confusion.

One replied: “Every Tuesday I say to my husband yay it’s Phil and Kirstie time. It’s starting to annoy him as every week I get the wrong day.”

Another added: “I’ve been convinced all day it’s was Wednesday too. Definitely Wednesdayish!”(sic)

“Lmao it’s ok it’s worth the wait,”(sic) a Twitter user added.

The Channel 4 show usually sees one of the presenters, Kirstie or Phil, showing house hunters around four properties, and the other prospective buyers around three.

Despite their friendship, Kirstie previously admitted to Good Housekeeping last year that working with Phil can be “incredibly frustrating”, claiming he often gets more career opportunities than her.

When asked about presenter roles still being dominated by men, she commented: “It’s incredibly frustrating. It’s not just on screen.

“I once said to my agent, ‘Phil gets all this voiceover work and I don’t get any; where am I going wrong?’

“And she said, ‘According to advertisers, women make 95 per cent of purchasing decisions and they don’t want to be told what to do by other women.’

“Things like that make it very difficult and there’s a huge amount of it still going on,” she added.
