Katy Perry Outbids Fan For A Date With BF Orlando Bloom At Charity Event!

Katy Perry surely knows her man is priceless!

The pop singer put her money where her mouth is in the sweetest way possible when she outbid a fan during a charity auction… that offered a date with her boyfriend Orlando Bloom!

It all went down on Sunday at the One Love Malibu Festival at King Gillette Ranch in Malibu. The concert event was set up to help victims of the Woolsey Fire that devastated parts of California, destroying thousands of homes.

Perry, who performed an intimate set of her hits including Firework and Roar, got back on stage to personally describe what the lucky bidder would get with her English bae: a motorcycle ride followed by lunch!

Not one to hide her feelings about it all, the 34-year-old sold the date hard while also admitting:

“You’re holding him in a way that I am not excited about. You’re holding his pecs and his six-pack — and it’s so glorious! You get to hold on to Orlando for about 45 minutes… and then, you get to stare into his brown eyes!”

After an excited fan named Laura boldly bid $20,000 for the date, the headliner swooped in last minute to sour her plans, saying:

“Laura, I’m sorry. I’m buying it for $50,000”

Now that’s an expensive date right there! A few fans took issue with the move on Instagram, calling it a d**k move to steal that experience from a fan. But it seems this was all in good fun, and the proceeds will still go to the cause. Isn’t that the point? Plus, Orly is Katy’s man.
