Katie Price has been left feeling reassured after her son Harvey received his second Covid-19 jab.

The former glamour model's 18 year old son Harvey, who is partially blind, autistic and has Prader Willi syndrome, was rushed to hospital in early February after suffering a "dangerous" reaction to his first dose of the Oxford/AstraZeneca vaccine.

At the time, the doting mum told her followers he had a high temperature but he was soon discharged and returned home before recommending people still get the preventative treatment against the coronavirus.

Katie has now shared her relief as she returned to the NHS for her son to receive the second injection to keep him protected amid the ongoing pandemic, which she said he's responded well to.

"I am in awe of the NHS – they are amazing, without them Harvey would not be here today," the former glamour model told The Sun Online.

She continued: "I don't want anyone worrying about him as he’s fine now at home eating carrot cake. Despite Harvey's reaction, he is one of a kind, the Covid jab is so important especially for those in high risk categories.

"I am so much happier in the knowledge Harvey is safer now he has had his."

Katie, who recently urged Sarah Harding to get in touch as she shared her regret about missing a message from Nikki Grahame, later added on her Instagram: "The doctors and nurses were fantastic so I can't wait to still have my Covid injection and I still recommend everyone else have it and Harvey is safe and well."

It comes as the reality star herself recently had her first Covid jab, despite her fear of needles.

The mum-of-five took to her Instagram to share a video of her having the jab done. In the clip, the star could be seen sitting down with her sleeve rolled up and a nurse administering the vaccination.
