Kate Moss snubbed from red carpet as snappers scream for Rita Ora
April 28, 2023Kate Moss snubbed from red carpet in front of Rita Ora
Kate Moss suffered an awkward run-in on the red carpet after being clearly overshadowed by chart-topping singer Rita Ora.
The British supermodel, 49, was all smiles as she arrived at the Prince’s Trust Global Gala in New York City, USA, on Thursday night.
She stepped out with the Anywhere hitmaker, 32, as they joined make-up mogul Charlotte Tilbury for their grand arrival at the exclusive Casa Cipriani members club.
It was a rare outing for Kate who was last seen attending the memorial service for fashion icon Dame Vivienne Westwood at Southwark Cathedral, London, in February.
The group appeared cheery as actresses Sienna Miller and Eiza González joined the pack, walking up to an army of angry event photographers.

Appearing happy to see Rita, who is enjoying chart-climbing success in the US with her latest hit Praising You, snappers were keen to get their shot.
Footage filmed by Express.co.uk shows the embarrassing moment Kate attempted to walk out onto the carpet with the star of the show, Ora.
“No, no, lady,” shouted one photographer as Rita and Kate were separated by event staff.
The clip catches Kate being ushered off the red carpet by a suited organiser as the flashes were all fired in the direction of Rita.
Kate looked stern as what appeared to be a publicist attempted to laugh off the awkward moment, forcing her back in front of snappers when they were done with Rita.
After smiling through the ordeal, Kate walked off and mingled with guests at the star-studded bash, also attended by Luther actor Idris Elba, model Winnie Harlow and global singing star Doja Cat.
She appeared to snub questioning from Express.co.uk about plans for King Charles’ Coronation, seeming reluctant to speak with reporters.
Kate was later allowed her pictures with Rita after the run-in with rowdy photographers, smiling as the pair got their snaps at the carpet’s side-line.
Fashion aside, Thursday’s annual event raised over $1.7 million for the Prince’s Trust’s programs, which were founded in 1976.
They serve to find work placement and employment opportunities for young people in the UK and more than 20 other countries.
