Judas Priest Plotting North American Tour

Judas Priest Plotting North American Tour

December 6, 2018

Judas Priest have announced plans to embark on a tour of North America in support of their latest album, Firepower, next summer.

The 32-date tour will kick off on May 3 at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida and conclude on June 29 at The Joint at Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada.

“Metal maniacs, Judas Priest is roaring back to the USA for one more blast of Firepower!” the band said in a statement.

Firepower 2019 charges forth with new first time performances born out of Firepower, as well as fresh classic cuts across the decades from the Priest world metalsphere. Our visual stage set and light show will be scorching a unique, hot, fresh vibe — mixing in headline festivals, as well as the in-your-face venue close ups. We can’t wait to reunite and reignite our maniacs … the Priest is back!”

Firepower, the band’s 18th studio album, has become one of the most successful albums for Judas Priest. It received the band’s highest-charting position ever in the United States, making it up to Number Five on Billboard‘s album chart.

Classic metal band Uriah Heep is set to support the band on the tour.
