Following admitting she had a crush on David Schwimmer when filming Friends, Jennifer Aniston has been quizzed about if they ever slept together. The Morning Show actor shot down the rumours as she says she’d admit it “proudly” if they had.
Jennifer, 52, and David, 54, appeared on the Friends reunion episode on HBO and Sky last month.
At the time, the pair opened up about having crushes on each other while filming their iconic Ross and Rachel scenes in season one.
David said during the chat with James Corden: “The first season, I had a major crush on Jen.”
She then added when he made the admission: “It was reciprocal.”
David continued: “At some point, we both crushing hard on each other but it was like two ships passing because one of us was always in a relationship so we never crossed that boundary.”
Now Jennifer has opened up more about their relationship after being quizzed on what actually happened.
She was a guest on Sirius XM’s The Howard Stern Show on Wednesday.
Appearing alongside pals Courteney Cox and Lisa Kudrow, she said: “We were in relationships, it was always never the right time and it wouldn’t have worked.
“The beauty of that was that whatever feelings we had we just literally channelled everything into Ross and Rachel and I think that’s maybe why it resonated the way it did.
“But no, we never – on my life, and Courteney and Lisa would know and can vouch for me.”
When pushed by Howard, Jennifer went on to clarify how they never slept together or even kissed outside of the show.
She added: “No. I would proudly say I banged Schwimmer if that happened. But no.”
Elsewhere, the actor has been opening up about dating and how she’d never try online options.
Chatting to People magazine, the star admitted dating apps are not for her when looking for a partner.
She explained: “Absolutely no. I’m going to just stick to the normal ways of dating.
“Having someone ask you out. That’s the way I would prefer it.”
Jennifer also recently appeared in a trailer for the second season of her Apple TV+ show The Morning Show.
She shared with recently to her 37.5 million followers on Instagram.
Alongside the video, she penned: “Took a little longer than expected but it’s finally here…
“First look at Season 2 of @TheMorningShow! @AppleTV.”
