How Taylor Swift tried to catch stalkers at one of her concertsDecember 14, 2018
Taylor Swift used facial recognition software at one of her concerts in an effort to spot her many stalkers, according to a report published Thursday.
A display kiosk that played clips of the pop star rehearsing at her May 18 Rose Bowl show in California secretly held a hidden high-tech camera, a security expert told Rolling Stone.
“Everybody who went by would stop and stare at it, and the software would start working,” said Mike Downing, chief security officer of Oak View Group, who attended the concert to witness a demo of the system.
The images of concert-goers were sent to a “command center” in Nashville, where they were cross-referenced with a database of hundreds of the “Look What You Made Me Do” singer’s suspected stalkers.
One of the accused creeps, Roger Alvarado, 22, was sentenced to six months behind bars last week for using a ladder to break into Swift’s three-story townhouse in Soho.
