Gwyneth Paltrow is among a whole host of celebrities who have hired a 'book curator' to style their shelves.

With money to burn the likes of Goop guru, director Shonda Rhimes, and Oscar nominated actress Laura Dern are all fans of the interior fad.

Celebrity bibliophile and collector of rare tomes Thatcher Wine is the man the A-list turn to, to kit out their homes sourcing rare or out-of-print books to add to their libraries.

His requests are not always based on book topics, some celebs like Gwynnie choose authors, and even colours of the book jackets.

Thatcher even had to make sure that Gwyneth's new collection – which already consisted of fashion, photography, art, culture and architecture – were "easy to grab off the shelves".

Speaking to Town & Country , Thatcher, who has known Gwyneth for 35 years, explained that she needed 500-600 more books to complete her shelves.

"I looked at books she already owned, which focused on fashion, art, culture, photography, and architecture, as well as books that her kids liked.

"We expanded on those topics, and for the kids, we included a selection of classics that we thought they might like as they got older."

He added that the books for her dining room were kept to a "rigid colour palette of black, white, and grey since it was less of a space where one might hang out and read".
