Mikey North, 33, welcomed his first child with wife Rachael –  a son named Archie – back in 2017 and now the dad-to-be has revealed the couple are expecting a baby girl this time around. The ITV actor also revealed his son has already picked a name for his younger sister but the family are keeping it under wraps. Speaking to OK! magazine, he spilled: “We’ve just moved house and put the name on the wallpaper that Rachael has chosen. “Archie wouldn’t let us call her anything else anyway, so he partly chose the name, but we’re keeping it a secret.”

The soap star also spilled that following a difficult pregnancy with their first child, the couple have decided to not expand their family after the arrival of their daughter.

He said: “I remember Rach insisting, ‘I’m not having any pain relief,’ and then about six hours in, she’s like, ‘Give me everything!’

“I would be highly surprised if we had any more. Two is a great number.”

The actor also joked about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle choosing the same name, Archie, for their own son.

Mike said: “When Archie was a little bit younger whenever Prince Harry came on the TV, he always said: ‘There’s Daddy!'”

Meanwhile, things are set to heat up in Weatherfield as Mikey’s character will attempt to set up loan shark Rick Neelan (played by Greg Wood).

Fans of the ITV soap are watching Gary become one of the soap’s biggest villains.

He was responsible for the factory collapse which took the life of Rana Habeeb (Bhavna Limbachia).

Later on, he killed off Rick when the pair went head-to-head.

In an attempt to get himself out of the the frame for sabotaging the Underworld factory, Gary will break into Rick’s house and smear paint on the gangster’s jacket.

Unfortunately for him, he is caught red-handed by Rick’s former business associate, Sharon.

Viewers will get to see Gary being taken to the police station for questioning as it appears his bad boy ways could be catching up with him.

DS Beckett (Kate Rutter) told Gary they were actually going to pin things on Rick until his disappearance.

In a recent episode, his character came close to revealing the truth to Rana’s brother Imran Habeeb (Charlie de Melo) but decided against it.
