Carol took to Instagram yesterday to display her new hairstyle ahead of her paddleboarding trip to Anglesey with the BBC’s Owain Wyn Evans.

She showed off her sleek straight-haired look as she flashed her blonde locks. 

Alongside the snaps, the ageless former Countdown host included the caption: “Sun so hot it turned my hair blonde today, didn’t it @kalas_hair_boutique?

“Packed up for some decent paddleboarding V V soon. Can’t wait @owainwynevans…..I’ve brought 3 of them @fatstickboards.
