Book Meghan Markle ‘will be dreading’ gets release date – and it’s so soonJuly 14, 2022
A new book Meghan Markle has been said to be “dreading” that is centred on the Duchess, is set to be released in a matter of days.
Revenge: Meghan, Harry and the war between the Windsors is written by biographer Tom Bower and is scheduled to be published next Thursday 21 July.
The book, released by Blink Publishing, came together after Mr Bower gathered information over 12 months which he collected from his interviews with Meghan’s friends, as well as enemies — with no quotes from the Duchess, 40, herself, who was not involved.
The writer “pulls no punches” when it comes to his work, and has described his upcoming title as one that will “tell the truth”.
"This is the book Meghan will be dreading,” an unnamed source told The Sun.
They continued: "Tom doesn't pull his punches and is terrifyingly thorough in his research. No stone will be left unturned.
"Tom has previously worked with some of his subjects, and even spent time trailing them, but it has been made perfectly clear to him that this will not be an option with Meghan."
This isn’t Mr Bower’s first time writing about the Royal Family.
He penned 2018 book Rebel Prince: The Power, Passion and Defiance of Prince Charles, and has been involved in the works of several other unofficial titles exposing the lives of famous names, including Boris Johnson and Richard Branson.
Reports on Mr Bower’s latest book about Meghan, comes after it was claimed by insiders recently that Prince Harry’s upcoming memoir, in which he is said to reveal “festering issues” about the monarchy, is sure to make the Royal Family “nervous”.
A source working in publishing told Page Six days ago: "It’s juicy, that’s for sure.”
It was confirmed last July that the Duke of Sussex, 37, had struck a publishing deal with Random House and would be presenting an "uplifting human story" that would account his life growing up under his unique Royal circumstances.
Random House announced the news on Twitter, as they included a quote from Prince Harry. It read: "I'm writing this not as the prince I was born but of the man I have become.
"I've worn many hats over the years, both literally and figuratively, and my hope is that in telling my story – the highs and lows, the mistakes, the lessons learned – I can help show that no matter where we come from, we have more in common than we think.
“I'm deeply grateful for the opportunity to share what I've learned over the course of my life so far and excited for people to read a firsthand account of my life that's accurate and wholly truthful."
