Below Deck star shares ‘real reason’ she joined OnlyFansMay 10, 2023
Below Deck fan-favourite Courtney Veale surprised fans last month after she announced the launch of her OnlyFans page.
The seasons 6 and 7 star has now dished on her latest career move in an exclusive interview with Express.co.uk.
Courtney candidly explained the decision came after fans had been urging her to join the content subscription service, which is often used by sex workers who produce pornography, as well as other creators including fitness experts and musicians.
Courtney said: “Since I started Below Deck people have asked me to do it, so I just thought, ‘why not?’
“I post so much on Instagram anyway, I may as well split up my platforms a little bit and make some money from it, as well.
“If anything I feel like it’s giving me back some control over… I don’t know… It’s been quite empowering doing it, to be honest.”
Elsewhere in the interview, Courtney explained that, while many accounts on OnlyFans are dedicated to sharing adult content, she will not be posting nude photos or videos.
She said: “It’s been something that I’ve been thinking about doing for a while now. And I was a bit not sure because of TV shows and stuff that I wanted to do in the UK.
“But it’s becoming so much more normalised now, and obviously, mine is not going to be anything nude of porn or anything like that, so….
“It’s basically what I’ve been doing on Instagram, but it’s more just for fans, more personal-level chats to fans and stuff. But it’s going great. It’s going really well, so…”

Asked about how her fans received the news, Courtney revealed she was pleasantly surprised at the reaction, as she expected some complaints.
The reality TV star said: “I didn’t sit there going through my requests when I did launch it because you can go down a bit of a rabbit hole.
“But so far everyone’s been really thrilled about it. I was expecting a few, you know, the usual Karens – someone would have something to say about it – but no, everyone’s been very supportive.
“I think because I obviously made it clear that it’s not going to be anything wild, or like explicit on there.”
