Bella Hadid Proves That Pink Hair Can Be Subtle
December 3, 2018If anyone is down to try a new hairstyle, it’s Bella Hadid. From baby bangs, claw clips, and bobs, a quick scroll through the supermodel’s Instagram makes it seem like there’s no trend she’ll say no to — unless it involves switching up her signature brown hair color.
Although Hadid hardly wears the same hairstyle twice, she rarely changes her color. After riding out her last dye job for a year, she recently freshened up her hair color by going a few shades darker ahead of the Victoria’s Fashion Show. Following the small change, it looks like Hadid is willing to take more risks with her hair color, and she’s starting with pink.

The model showed up to a photo call for Dior’s Tokyo fashion show with a hot pink streak in her hair. Hadid’s hair was styled in a messy updo with the pink strand peaking out from underneath her chocolate brown hair. Whether or not the pink strand is the real deal or a clip is TBA, but either way it’s proof that a rainbow hair shade can be subtle.

Hadid’s sneaky pink streak is a great way to switch things up if your hair color is starting to feel stale, or if you’re in the mood to just have some fun with your any of your usual hairstyles. A flash of pink (or any other bright hair color) doesn’t just work on updos. It would also look great peaking out of a braid, ponytail, or a half-up half-down style.
