Speaking on The Steph Show, he said the pair had been trying to potty train their twins Henrietta and George.

He told the host: “We just had a third birthday two days ago, the twins are three. It’s been lovely.

“We’re also trying to do nappy training or potty training, so we’re trying to get them out of nappies.

“Henrietta is a little bit better at it than George.

“I think that’s normal with boys and girls, the boys tend to take a little bit longer.

“So why not, might as well try and get them into little knickers and pants now at this stage now, because we’ve got nothing else to do.”

Anton’s comments prompted new mum Steph to reveal how she has been using the time at home.

She said: “Because I’m here all the time now, I’ve actually been trying to get the baby into a sleeping pattern.”

The former BBC Breakfast star gave birth to her first daughter back in November, who she shares with her partner, a television executive.

Anton gushed about his newfound free time during an episode of The One Show earlier this month.

Speaking to Alex Jones and Chris Ramsey, he said spending time at home was a “wonderful thing”.

He said: “I spend everyday with Hannah and the babies and it’s been the most wonderful thing!

The dancer went on to say: “The babies, as you know, people say ‘Don’t blink’ because it goes so quick. And it’s absolutely the case, it goes so fast!”
