Amanda Holden cheekily flashed her derrière in a photo taken in a bid to recreate Martin Elliott’s ‘Tennis Girl’.

Taken in 1976, the photo was first published in a calendar by retailer Athena for the 1977 Silver Jubilee.

Amanda, 51, shared the racy snap on Instagram alongside Pussycat Doll Ashley Roberts, 40.

Getting into the Wimbledon spirit, Ashley and Amanda dressed in short white tennis skirts, vest tops and trainers, while holding up racquets.

To complete her look, Amanda donned a sweatband across her head in true Venus Williams style. Meanwhile, Ashley wore her blonde tresses in a ponytail with bangs.

Britain’s Got Talent judge Amanda also shared a Boomerang of the pair pretending to itch the bottoms, further giving the nod to Martin Elliott’s artwork.

Amanda captioned the clip: “Itchy bum #Wimbledon day 1”.

One person replied to the post: “Omg you girls need your tv show,” as another wrote: “Wit whoo”.

Another said: “Iconic! Love this! Athena inspired from 80’s”.

A fourth added: “Love this. Serving up the ace looks.”

Decades after the photo was taken, ‘Tennis Girl’ went on to be revealed as Fiona Walker – then Butler.

While the artwork went on to don the walls of many homes, Fiona shared that she wasn’t paid for her modelling services. She was just 18 at the time.

Fiona told Daily Mail in 2011: "I am the worst person ever when it comes to money. To be honest, it didn’t bother me at the time, and once it became successful the time had passed.

“My mother has a very faded copy in what used to be my father’s study. I just have it in the form of a very small postcard.

“I think it’s the light that makes it so appealing. It never ceases to make me smile when I see it. My children have told their friends that I was the girl in the poster, but most people don’t believe it.”

Fiona added: “I’ve never gone out of my way to court attention, and have declined being photographed publicly since then, because I am quite a private person.”

While Fiona wasn’t paid anything for the snap, Martin, who died in 2010, is thought to have made around £250,000 in royalties after selling the image to retail company Athena.
